Natural gas – produced from the earth crust, mainly from methane CH4 (75–98%) and gas mixture that contains other light hydrocarbon gases.

Pipelines of category A: working pressure of gas pipelines is <= 0.01 bar.

Pipelines of category B: working pressure of gas pipelines is > 0.01 and <= 5 bars.

Pipelines of category C: working pressure of gas pipelines is > 5 and <= 16 bars.

Pipelines of category D: working pressure of gas pipelines is more than 16 bars.

METHODOLOGY

Data of gas pipelines are collected by the total survey “Pipelines”.
