The time-series is a continuation of the table SW11: State pension insurance (1970-2000). The reason for starting a new time-series is large-scale changes in legislation.
Up to the year 2011 the data have been converted into euros (1 euro = 15.6466 Estonian kroons).

* Since 1 April 2000, pension for incapacity for work has been granted instead of the former disability pension, and pensioners receiving pension for incapacity for work will be transferred to old-age pensioners or national pensioners.
