In connection with the launch of the Register of Social Security Benefits and Services, there may be some discrepancies in the table: the number of families receiving subsistence benefit in the whole country, in regions and in counties may be smaller than the number summed up by local government unit, because the ‘total’ line includes all these families once. In case of the number of families receiving subsistence benefit by local government unit, the same family may be included under more than one local government unit in one year (e.g. due to a change in the place of residence).
The data in the table are presented according to the administrative division in force on January 1 of the reference year. Data for years earlier than 2018 are based on the administrative division in force on 01.01.2018. Data based on the pre-administrative reform boundaries can be found in the archive table SK43: Families who have received subsistence benefits by number of payments and by region/administrative unit (1997-2016).
