* Until 2016 - Colza and the rape-seed, the sunflower, soya, flax, cotton, ricinus, mustard, poppy, sesame seeds, groundnuts, palm nuts and almonds, copra, olives and other fruit.
Since 2017, a new methodology compiled by Eurostat has been used, according to which the accounting period is a calendar year, products with the second stage processing are not included, and only oilseed rape and turnip rape seeds, sunflower seeds and soya beans are covered within oilseeds and crops.
Oleaginous seeds and fruit total are not calculated because only a few species are covered.
Due to the changes in methodology, data from 2017 are not directly comparable with previous years.
The data of the two last periods may be subject to adjustment.
Data for 1 January - 31 December 2021 has been revised on 28.11.2022.
