In 2009-2012, only such transactions with agricultural land were registered which were made by legal persons whose main activity is agriculture. As of 2013, the transactions of all agricultural holdings are registered.
Starting from 2013, administrative data have been used as a basis for publishing data about purchase/sales transactions, the same concerns rent transactions from 2014 to 2018.
Starting from 2019, data on rents have been received from the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) of the Agricultural Research Centre and they are published only for Estonia as a whole.
The data may be revised when the data for the next year are added.
Up to the year 2011 the data have been converted into euros on the basis of aggregated data (1 euro = 15.6466 Estonian kroons).
