.. Data not available or too uncertain for publication In 2008 a new version of the classification of economic activities was implemented in the EU. The data in the present table are according to EMTAK 2008 (based on NACE Rev. 2). Turnover of 2005-2009 includes subsides. Starting from 2010 subsides are excluded from turnover. Up to the year 2011 the data have been converted into euros on the basis of aggregated data (1 euro = 15.6466 Estonian kroons). From the reference year 2021, the final frame of economically active units is used, and for the data of 2020 and earlier, the initial frame is in use. The change in methodology has the biggest impact on the indicator ‘number of enterprises’.
The initial and final frame of economically active units and their difference are described here. From the reference year 2021, data for activities R92 ”Gambling and betting activities” and R93 ”Sporting and other recreational activities” have been published separately (previously aggregated).
