Notes

This table shows data on the export and import of goods by the activities of economic entities in the Estonian business register. Excluded are exports and imports made by non-resident traders and private persons. Therefore, exports and imports totals may differ from those in other tables. Since January 2024, the import data estimates have been partially replaced retroactively with detailed data from other countries. As a result, the data tables on imports in the foreign trade database partly show detailed data at 8-digit commodity code level instead of 2-digit estimates.
The data were first published in the database in the updated form on 10 June 2024.
Starting from 2025, Statistics Estonia compiles EU imports statistics using detailed data and estimates from other Member States of their exports to Estonia. The data are validated by Statistics Estonia and combined with administrative data. 2025 data based on the new methodology were first published on 12 March 2025.
