Before 2022, the network segments Tartu–Petseri (Pechory) and Valga–Petseri (Pechory) were used as Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) segments instead of Tartu–Koidula and Valga–Koidula.
For passenger trains, only scheduled journeys on routes that cover the entire segment are taken into account. Empty journeys are not included. Journeys on routes covering only part of the segment are also not included.
For goods trains, both laden and unladen journeys covering the entire segment or just part of the segment are included.
