Starting from 2014, marriage statistics include also marriages registered abroad, if at least one of the parties is a permanent resident of Estonia. Since the methodology of data collection varies by country, the statistical information on newly married persons may be incomplete in the case of marriages registered abroad.
The data for 2014 and 2015 have been revised on 21.06.2017.
