Employees with an employment contract, a service contract and working under the Public Service Act are included.
Respondents include enterprises and institutions which have responded at least in one month of a quarter and enterprises and institutions which have informed us of their liquidation.
Since 2018, the population includes economic entities with at least 1 employee. In addition, since 2018, non-profit institutions with less than 50 employees have been included in the population.
Since 2018, Statistics Estonia uses the data of the employment register of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board to estimate the number of occupied posts and labour turnover.
