Now you have come to the page, Choose variable. This page give you the oportunity to select which variables and values you want to display in your result of the table. A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.

In 1993-2001 Russian films are among CIS films, since 2002 among films of the European countries.
Since 2005 films distributed by producers are also included.
Since 2015, the indicators related to population size are based on the population figure calculated using the residency index methodology (see also Implementation of the residency index in demographic statistics). For the years 2012-2014, the population figure is based on the 2011 census and for the previous years on the 2000 census.
Since 2014, data received from the Estonian Film Institute are used.
Up to the year 2011 the data have been converted into euros on the basis of aggregated data (1 euro = 15.6466 Estonian kroons).
