.. Data not available or too uncertain for publication The business and consumer surveys are co-financed under the Joint Harmonised European Union Programme of Business and Consumer Surveys, pursuant to the Framework Partnership Agreement BCS-2025-FPA and Specific Grant Agreement BCS-2025-SGA.

Statistics Estonia conducts the business and consumer surveys since May 2026. The surveys are conducted in all European Union countries using a common methodology to ensure the comparability of the results. Previously, the surveys were conducted by the Estonian Institute of Economic Research which published the results on its website.
Although the surveys conducted by the Estonian Institute of Economic Research and by Statistics Estonia are based on a common methodological framework, it should be noted that any differences compared to earlier data may partially be due to the change of the partner institute in Estonia.

The indicators 'Factors currently limiting production', 'Current production capacity', 'Orders over the last 3 months', 'Current level of capacity utilization', 'Competitive position on foreign markets inside the EU over the last 3 months', and 'Competitive position on foreign markets outside the EU over the last 3 months' are not published monthly, but quarterly (in January, April, July, and October).
